- Night Shift_**


Job Description Summary/Brief Description: We are currently seeking a night shift Quality Technician for the DuBois, PA site. In this role, the Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring quality initiatives are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The night shift hours are 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. on a 2-2-3 schedule. Initial job training will be conducted during day shift hours.


Responsibilities:

+ Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams

+ Develop and maintain inspection reports

+ Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data

+ Perform product audits

+ Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes

+ Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns

+ Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives

+ Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.


Job Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Quality ASQ certification a plus

+ Manufacturing experience preferred

+ Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel

+ Ability to read technical drawings

+ Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment

+ Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions

+ Works well with others in a team environment

+ Ability to lift safely up to 35 pounds

+ Ability to use lift support devices

+ Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility

+ Regularly required to listen, talk to, and see employees on a daily basis.

+ Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and various materials.

+ Climate controlled workspace, majority of the time with occasional work within manufacturing climate changes.


Compensation and Benefits: The estimated pay range for this position is $18.50-23.50 per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
