Wood is seeking a Project Manager to support our rapidly growing offshore brownfield engineering operations in Metairie, LA.#LI-OnsiteThe RoleWood is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Brownfield Engineering Project Manager who will head our offshore brownfield campaign and will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage communication with the client.Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Global connections with leading industry experts around the world who are shaping the standards of our professionRESPONSIBILITIESTypical responsibilitiesResponsibilities• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team, inclusive of global execution centers, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout all project phases.

• Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and milestones.

• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives.

• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost control measures as needed.

• Monitor project schedule and resource utilization, identifying potential delays, conflicts, or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.

• Conduct site visits as required to validate scope and clarify requirements as required.

• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making.

• Manage change requests, deviations, and variations from the project scope, assessing impacts on schedule, budget, and quality.

• Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and documentation to clients, management, and other stakeholders.

• Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement among project team members.QUALIFICATIONSWhat makes you remarkable? • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years exposure to offshore engineering and construction with brownfield projects.

• Strong understanding of engineering processes, including regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from initiation to closeout.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, global execution centers and managing subcontractors and vendors.

• Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environmental conditions as required.
