About this role
Merola Tile Distributors of America is a national leader in tile distribution, importing, curating and delivering ceramic, porcelain, glass and mosaic tile from around the world. Our New Jersey division moved into its expanded Manalapan facility in 2016 and unified all of our brands under Merola Tile Distributors of America in 2020. We are hiring Warehouse Associates for the Manalapan distribution center.
What you will do:
- Process, package and ship orders accurately to company packing standards
- Pick and pack tile and material to fill orders quickly and correctly
- Palletize and stack completed orders for shipment
- Organize stock and help maintain accurate inventory
- Keep a safe, clean work environment and follow safety rules
What we look for:
- Able to push, pull and lift up to 75 lbs several times during the shift
- Comfortable working on your feet in a warehouse that can be hot in summer and cold in winter
- Able to read and write in English
- Forklift experience is a plus; we ask about it on the application
- Reliable, detail focused and a good teammate
Schedules and pay: Full time, Monday to Friday. Pay as posted is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) plan.
