Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer / Commercial Lender to join a growing commercial banking team in Williston, North Dakota. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing a commercial loan portfolio while performing underwriting and credit analysis functions internally.This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy relationship banking, credit analysis, and working in a collaborative community banking environment.
Key Responsibilities•
Manage and grow an assigned commercial loan portfolio•
Develop and maintain strong business client relationships•
Analyze commercial loan requests and assess credit risk•
Perform underwriting, financial analysis, and cash flow analysis•
Structure commercial loan deals and prepare credit presentations•
Monitor existing loan relationships and portfolio performance•
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and banking regulations•
Collaborate with internal banking teams to support client needs•
Participate in business development and community relationship activitiesRequired Qualifications•
4-10 years of experience in commercial banking, commercial lending, underwriting, or credit analysis•
Strong understanding of:•
Commercial lending•
Credit analysis•
Financial statement analysis•
Cash flow analysis•
Loan structuring•
Experience managing or supporting commercial loan portfolios•
Ability to independently underwrite and evaluate commercial credit opportunities•
Strong communication and relationship management skillsCompensation•
Compensation will depend on experience level and lending background•
Annual Performance Bonus: Approximately $4,000 - $6,000•
