Position Summary

Until Labs, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our Engineering & Software Development team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support the company's products, internal systems, and client solutions.The ideal candidate is passionate about software development, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and has experience building scalable, secure, and reliable applications. The Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps, UX/UI Design, and IT to deliver innovative technology solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and system components.

•Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

•Participate in software architecture, system design, and technical planning.

•Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

•Develop new application features while enhancing and maintaining existing software.

•Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve software defects.

•Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.

•Create and maintain technical documentation, APIs, and software specifications.

•Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

•Develop secure applications following cybersecurity and data privacy best practices.

•Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

•Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

•Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and successful software releases.

•Support production environments by monitoring application performance and resolving issues.

•Stay current with emerging technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and software development methodologies.

•Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

•Perform additional software development and technical duties as assigned.**

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

•Professional experience in software development.

•Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++.

•Experience developing web, desktop, mobile, or cloud-based applications.

•Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.

•Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

•Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

•Experience with Git or other version control systems.

•Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

•Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.**

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

•Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

•Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

•Knowledge of software security best practices.

•Experience with automated testing frameworks.

•Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

•Experience with backend frameworks such as .NET, Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, or Flask.**
