Summary:Supports the day-to-day activities of the Program Management function of the UNC Health System's Transformation Office. Responsibilities include planning and administration, managing financial development, monitoring and reporting program progress to ensure fulfillment of the Forward Together 2030 objectives. As leader in the program management function, the role is focused on both execution and program management activities under the multi-year, system-wide strategic plan, as well as other high priority shorter-term projects.


Responsibilities:1.


Analysis - Analyzes and resolves complex issues to maximize efficiency. Ensures all proper internal controls are in place to safeguard assets of the system and satisfies internal and external regulatory requirements. Develops and monitors operating and capital budget.2.


Communication and Relationships

- Works with peers to identify and analyze opportunities for improvement. Implements processes to identify, implement and ensure standardization decisions occur with minimal disruption to patient care or administrative activities and creating solutions.3.


Financial and Business

- Planning Provides analytical and strategy support for the assigned program. Performs analytics, provides business insight into implications of findings, develops business plans, and recommends opportunities for improvement.4.


Program Administration

- Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned program to include developing, implementing, and administering related procedures, processes, services and systems.5.


Strategic Planning

- Interface with all UNC Health Care entities and effectively communicate strategies, successfully elicit support and provide assistance implementing those strategies.

Education Requirements:? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science or Health Care-related field


Licensure/Certification Requirements:? No licensure or certification required.


Professional Experience Requirements:? Five (5) years of management consulting, business process improvement design and implementation, project management or related business experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.? If an Associate's degree: 9 years of experience.? If a High School diploma or GED: 13 years of experience.


Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:+ Proven ability to lead complex project initiatives, including the ability to lead key elements of multifunction teams.+ Knowledge of project and change management techniques and tools+ Excellent analytical and communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills+ Proven ability to excel and achieve results in a team-oriented, matrixed environment+ Highly responsive to internal customers
