Senior
Manager of Business & Technology Portfolio Enablement , you will oversee and care for both arms of the direct team and liaison across the entire bank organization. This responsibility is critical to ensure strategic and delivery alignments along with improvement of reporting, process efficiencies, and overall execution methodologies. You will be responsible for the oversight of the administration of Business and Technology Planning, IT capacity alignment and IT PMO Practice Management. You will provide direction and prioritization of the capacity review / reporting and provide methods and monitoring of PMO practice management leveraged by the Portfolio Delivery teams. This includes recognizing and avoiding portfolio capacity issues across the lifecycle of the project delivery. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership.
This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area. However, the remote location must be within the US.
_How you'll spend your time:_+ Leadership negotiation and communications across all levels (C-Suite through Manager levels).+ Review, oversight and approval / approval coordination of Strategic, Tactical, and Operational Projects+ Liaise with LOB, IT, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and prioritization for portfolio focus.+ Ensure alignment with Finance, Contracts, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance as needed per effort scope+ Provide direction and collaborate to improve the current project delivery methodologies to support repeatable PMO activities and deliverables that align to the regulatory and UMB defined SDLC controls that ensure quality, security, and delivery effectiveness.+ Oversee the creation user adoption deliverables and repeatable training methods to encourage alignment to the defined processes, focusing on efficiency gains of using PMO technology.+ Monitor the quality of project outputs to ensure strategic objectives and project delivery quality are met.+ Ensure the delivery of adherence methods and monitoring to support the management and standard practice of project and program management execution.+ Increase maturity of broader IT governance by creating cohesive processes across technology functions.+ Ensure and collaborate to support proactive capacity reporting and analysis to identify and work to resolve upcoming capacity issues that would cause disruptions to milestones or implementation delivery of the portfolio.+ Drive portfolio delivery excellence by creating a cohesive portfolio plan that proactively drives to meet the time, scope, and quality while working closely with Business & Technology Planning, Portfolio Managers, and IT Directors to drive initiatives through process and extend leadership including driving decisions.+ Identify and resolve capacity concerns that may lead to project portfolio delivery issues via impact analysis and change control methodologies.+ Work closely with leadership teams, portfolio management teams and technical managers to improve the collection and maintenance of the time reporting and resource forecast information within the portfolio.+ Work with portfolio delivery leaders to recalibrate the portfolio as necessary when demands of the business dictate a change in delivery or scope.+ Provide full IT portfolio metric reporting and visualization to support communication of IT delivery commitments. These metrics/reporting will be used to measure the health and maturity growth of PMO.+ Management of a user adoption, reporting, and practice management definition team.+ Thrive with ambiguity, help to clarify and set direction.+ Ensure compliance to corporate policy, technology policy, regulatory guidance and regulations.
_We're excited to talk if you have:_+ A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.+ At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the banking or financial industry, IT portfolio or program management.+ Demonstrated competency in creating effective reporting, executive communications, and user adoption / process documentation.+ Proven competency in developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex messages to a wide audience.
_Bonus Points if you have:_+ Banking or financial services industry experience.+ Experience with ServiceNow SPM module and SharePoint.

Compensation Range:$99,750.00
