Please review the following job description:Support process improvement initiatives, engineers, and leads. Gather process requirements and provide operational/analytical support for Process Engineers. May identify or assist in identifying gaps and efficiency opportunities and may make recommendations based on analysis. Interact with business SMEs to ascertain information and details in support of research and evaluations.This position will sit in-office 5 days a week. No remote options available. No relocation available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Provide business process based solutions to complex problems. Act as a Process SME for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.2. Work with project teams, lines of business and other IT resources to analyze and develop solutions to satisfy business needs. Under general direction, instruct, direct, and check the work of other business analysts. Act independently or as a member of a project team to consult on complex projects.3. Develop and implement a data collection plan in support of projects led by Process Engineers4. Assist with providing process improvement recommendations based on analysis of process maps, data collection, and root cause analysis5. Facilitate and document project meetings and design sessions6. Manage small project initiatives with limited scope.7. Facilitate and document process mapping sessions, including ensuring documentation accurately reflects process owner discussion8. Prioritizes responsibilities to balance initiatives and deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelors' degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience2. Four years of process or project analyst or relevant industry experience in banking, financial services, or other services industry3. Strong analytical skills4. Proficient with business process management (BPM) standards for mapping purposes.5. Self-starter, highly-motivated, change agent with strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products7. Demonstrated proficiency with Process mapping and/or process modeling8. Knowledgeable in applying problem solving toolsets to then create or draft process improvement deliverablesClick to enter text.Preferred Qualifications:1. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt2. Quality/process improvement-related designation.3. Solid understanding of program and project management disciplines, techniques and approaches.4. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
