This position will onsite, office-centric (5 days a week), based in a Truist core location (Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific activities may change from time to time.+ Platform Management & Administration+ User & Access Management+ Workflow Support & Quality Assurance+ Training & User Enablement

- Assist in delivering training sessions, demos, and office hours+ Develops, maintains, and improves deployment pipelines for the platform. Maintains and ensures operational metadata (logs, performance metrics, etc.) are available for diagnostics.+ Implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information.+ Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.+ Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.+ Provide solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis (e.g. modeling, testing, etc.) of multiple sources of information.+ Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS


Required Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.+ Bachelor's degree and four to seven years of experience in systems engineering or administration or equivalent education and related training or experience.+ In-depth knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows Shell Programming, Python, Git, Networking, Storage Systems, data/BI/ content/ document composition platforms+ Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects.+ Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information+ Effective verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience+ Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments+ Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in engineering Data or BI, platform architecture and design with strong analytical and debugging skills+ Professional experience managing resilient platforms or services and scaling at an enterprise level+ Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks+ Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP+ Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies+ Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.+ Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests+ Experience with Windows and PowerShell+ Knowledge of HashiCorp vaulting solution+ Knowledge of MongoDB+ Knowledge of SQL Server (potential future state)
