Please review the following job description: Provide support to the Operations area through numerous functions. Areas of support include electronic funds transfer (EFT) payment processing, review and mailing of refund checks, optical imaging process, storage of documents, handling of incoming and outgoing mail, reconciliation of return mail and correspondence discrepancies and data keying.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Process new business contracts through an electronic work queue by data keying pertinent contract information and answering visual questions relating to each contract prior to booking. 2. Mail: For incoming mail, retrieve from post office, open, sort and route to the proper departments. For outgoing mail, fold, stuff and meter and deliver to post office all outgoing mail 3. Review, handle and reconcile requests sent to the ADMIN mailbox from customers. 4. Review for completion and proper entry of customer banking information for all EFT payments. 5. Reconcile Insured return mail by contacting Insured's for updated information and/or address corrections from statement coupons. 6. Data key new loan contracts to account system. 7. Obtain and update policy numbers by contacting agents/markets for information. 8. Prepare, scan, index and store contracts, correspondence and other documents into the optical imaging system. 9. Review, sort and mail all system generated refund checks to the appropriate party. Obtain required approval for checks over established thresholds. 10. Review and correct certain correspondence discrepancies from carriers, brokers and agents 11. Maintain office inventory and initiate payment of various vendor bills through OneStop


QUALIFICATIONS


Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines 4. Ability to execute sound judgment based on knowledge and experience 5. Good written and verbal communication skills 6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products


Preferred Qualifications: 1. Two years of administrative support experience 2. Two years of experience in Premium Finance or lending industry "This position requires an individual who will physically work within Illinois or be required to travel to Illinois for work. The annual base salary for this position is $45,760.00

- $53,000.00."
