About this role

Summary: The Financial & Administrative Assistant will work together with the Communication & Administrative Director and the Executive Director in financial reporting, and general admin functions of The Antioch Partners (TAP).Reports to: Communications & Administrative Director and Executive DirectorResponsibilities:Please note TAP uses the word “Partners” to refer to our missionary personnel.

• Communicate with and assist donors

• Manage donor accounts in Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv) and eTapestry (CRM)

• Setup reports for Partners in eTapestry to run weekly/monthly

• Reconcile expenses for Partners and staff

• Reconcile cash advances for Partners

• Fund cash advances in online banking and enter in QuickBooks

• Fund expenses in online banking and enter in QuickBooks

• Fund grants in the form of wires or EFTs to Partners in online banking and enter in QuickBooks

• Communicate with Partners regarding expense reimbursements and wires and EFTs as needed

• Process bills in online banking and QuickBooks

• Run reports for Partners in eTapestry as requested

• Apply EFT/wire fees to appropriate accounts

• Enter journal entries in QuickBooks

• Enter interoffice transfer of funds in QuickBooks

• Enter checks into eTapestry and handle remote bank deposits

• Assist Communication/Administrative Director with annual fundraiser planning and execution

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director including scheduling meetings and video calls, making travel arrangements, coordinating TAP Board meetings details, and more.Status: This is a full-time salaried position working in the Houston officeSalary & Benefits: Salary is negotiable based on experience. Medical insurance is available. As a mission-sending agency, we would like to discuss with applicants their potential for support-raising all or a portion of their salary. If support-raising is not an option, salary will be fully paid from the TAP Operating Budget.Review: An annual review will be conducted by the Communications/Administrative Director and the Executive Director.Minimum Qualifications:

• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a growing faith

• Strong computer skills, including QuickBooks, Bloomerang Fundraising (formerly Qgiv), eTapestry (CRM), online banking, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook and a Cloud-based system would also be beneficial

• Strong interpersonal skills (especially listening skills)

• A team player

• Self-starter with good organizational and managerial skills

• Ability to work with diverse people and congregationsDesired Qualifications:

• Aptitude and desire to apply new tools and processes

• A heart for God’s mission in the world

• Able to be flexible and anticipate needs

• Good communication (oral and written) skills

• Ability to work effectively while balancing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
