About this role
Processes form 285(s) and form 290(s)as assigned:
? Processes incoming Forms 285 and 290, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
? Prepares and processes Power of Attorney (POA) forms or Penalty Abatement forms for data entry into the tax accounting system or PRU team inventory master
? Ensures forms and all actions taken for paper, emails, and faxes are organized and securely stored
? Researches and resolves POA and Prescreening issues and questions
? Serves as a point-of-contact for taxpayer inquiries and cases related to form 285(s) and form 290(s)
? Provides tier 1/basic -level customer care to taxpayers regarding forms completion (Form 285 and Form 290)
? Escalates intermediate and complex taxpayer inquiries and cases to senior team member
? Processing the Mail (as assigned, in office
? Other duties as assigned
10% Onsite - will need to be onsite to process mail as needed
Preferred Skills - basic office equipment knowledge, 10 key experience
Required Skills - basic admin skills, typing, filing, etc.
Education Preferences - Associate's degree, or equivalent experience
