Ability to read blueprints, installation scopes, and diagrams4. Experience operating a scissor lift for installationsDescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking experienced Traveling Cable / Low‑Voltage Technicians to low voltage rollout projects. This role involves nationwide travel, working as part of a team to install, cable, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems. Technicians will be responsible for complete end‑to‑end installation activities, including structured cabling, hardware mounting, validation, and documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structured cabling (CAT5e/CAT6)Terminate, label, and organize cabling in IDFs and camera locationsTest and certify cabling using industry‑standard testing equipment (Fluke preferred)UnistrutConduitSurface and ceiling mountsVerify network connectivity to required IDFsMake physical camera adjustments as requested by the client AP teamReturn to sites as needed for follow‑up adjustments or correctionsCapture and upload required deliverables:Test resultsValidation documentationUpload documentation into ServiceNowFollow all site safety, PPE, and customer requirementsWork effectively in teams of four on overnight shifts (typically four nights per store)Skillswireless access points, ip cameras, Cat5, Cat6, idfs, Install, Cabling, cctv systems, Punchdown, Low voltage, Cable installation, cctv, Structured cabling, InstallationAdditional Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience2+ years experience in low‑voltage or structured cabling environmentsStrong hands‑on experience with:CAT5e/CAT6 cablingTermination and testingRetail or commercial environmentsAbility to read and follow installation scopes, shot guides, and diagramsComfortable working in IDFs and ladder/lift environmentsBasic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshootingStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to travel 100% nationwide for extended periodsAbility to work overnight shifts and maintain productivityPreferred QualificationsFluke certification or strong testing experienceConduit bending or light electrical/EMT experienceExperience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/documentation systems#WRO

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
