About this role

Description The Benefits Administrator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, etc.). This position provides excellent customer service and designs quality benefits plans. The Benefits Administrator continually investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and supervises and monitors benefits administration.

- Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and voluntary benefits.

- Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, qualifying life events, and dependent updates.

- Support annual Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications, system testing, enrollment audits, and follow-up activities.

- Review and reconcile benefit eligibility files, enrollment data, invoices, and payroll deductions.

- Coordinate with benefit vendors and carriers to resolve enrollment, billing, and eligibility issues.

- Respond to employee questions regarding benefit plans, coverage, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.

- Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA-related leaves, state leave programs, personal leaves, military leave, and other company-approved leaves.

- Serve as a primary HR resource for employee questions regarding benefits, leave, and retirement programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value.

- Negotiate with vendors and administrators for best plans, options and rates.

- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.

- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.

- Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes. Need to have 3

+ years of HRIS, benefits experience, Face to Face experience needed** ( this is not call center enrollment) FULLY ONSITE first shift in Plano #westpriority26 Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00

- $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
