Edwardsville, Illinois, United StatesApplyEdwardsville Oral Surgery, a well-established and respected private practice just outside of St. Louis located in the heart of Edwardsville, Illinois, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic team.Our practice is known for providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to continue our legacy of excellence in oral surgery.About the Role:As an Oral Surgeon at Edwardsville Oral Surgery, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and the treatment of oral pathology. You will work alongside a supportive and friendly team of dental professionals who prioritize patient care and collaboration.Responsibilities:• Perform oral and maxillofacial surgeries such as extractions, dental implants, bone grafts, and corrective jaw surgeries.• Diagnose and treat conditions related to the mouth, jaw, and face.• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and consultations to patients.• Work closely with our team of dental specialists to ensure comprehensive care.• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.• Foster positive patient relationships through clear communication and exceptional care.Qualifications:• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).• Completed an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.• Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.• Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.Why Edwardsville, IL?Edwardsville, Illinois, is a charming and growing community located just 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri, making it an ideal location for both personal and professional life.
