This individual works closely with the Regional Country Manager to define Veracyte's commercial plan for his/her area of responsibility and its execution in assigned territory. This individual leads the Iberia & France commercial activities of the diagnostic version of the nCounter platform and in vitro diagnostic assays, beginning with the breast cancer assay, Prosigna and future launches. This individual has direct responsibility for sales revenue. This individual works with the General Manager to maximize sales revenues from National Centers and key Private Centers, and drives growth by articulating a thoughtful, evidence-based rationale for how practicing Oncologists and Pathologists can use Veracyte's diagnostic tests to improve outcomes whilst also reducing costs through the accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of disease. As such, this individual must be comfortable in dialoguing with the most senior thought leaders and decision-makers in the field of Oncology, and will also need to analyze the market and detect the best and faster opportunities to develop the business. The candidate will also needs to have experience in market tender related .In addition, this individual works closely with the marketing and medical teams in order to detect, organize and execute marketing activities (congresses, tradeshows, seminars, etc.) at a regional and global level.The ideal candidate is located in Spain or France, and speaks Spanish and/or French fluently, Portuguese is a plus. Essential Functions: • Focus on successfully launching and maintaining Prosigna assay(s) and other launch diagnostic products in your sales region, maximizing sales, developing the market and increasing the test demand• This role will require 30% - 40% travel.• Develop a go-to-market strategy to launch diagnostic tests in key Private Centers and in Academic Hospitals including securing reimbursement in coordination with regional market access teams.• Develop commercial and activities plan for his/her area of responsibility in close collaboration with the medical team responsible including tender management responsibilities and business development opportunities• Be responsible for own performance, checking own progress against goals established in collaboration with line manager• Communicating feedback promptly with line manager and addressing issues accordingly• Make Prosigna known through marketing activities to the breast cancer community and attend the most relevant congresses and seminars. Marketing activities should be aligned with the Regional and global strategy and tactics, aligned with budget allocations and after medical affairs consultation (for relevance and compliance)• Develop commercial activities related to Diagnostic Business for Veracyte in assigned territory, in line with the strategy defined by IVD General Manager and approved by Veracyte Leadership; quality policies of the company; local specific regulations and both local and global regulatory matters• Manage tender process in country scope• Regular travel across assigned territory region is requiredWho You Are:• 6+ years of commercial experience, including revenue responsibility and a proven track record of successfully launching Oncology drugs and/or diagnostics, ideally in lean and fast-paced organizations• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or business field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine, health economics, business) or equivalent experience.• Experience in Sales and Market Development especially in growing Oncology businesses in Iberia and France.• Candidates who have played a key role in launching a commercially successful drug, molecular diagnostic or have experience in the sales of a companion diagnostic to the Oncology community are of particular interest.• Communication skills to work effectively with external constituents, such as clinicians, KOLs, as well as with internal stakeholders• Knowledge of diagnostic market in region• Specific experience in product or services in the diagnosis or treatment of breast and /or prostate cancer• Native or resident of territory region, demonstrating affinity and knowledge of the country, its culture and people• Strong influencing and convincing skills and experience with regards to Oncologists and Pathologists• Substantiated track record of negotiating and closing deals with hospital and Health Authorities.• Flexibility and cultural sensitivity to work in a rapidly growing yet still small company• Able to operate autonomously yet within a structured corporate environment• Previous experience of working with international headquarters is a plus.• Driven, self-motivated, independent, dependable and passionate individual with strong leadership
