Your Key Responsibilities 1. Lead production activities to ensure that products meet all requirements and to achieve KPIs agreed. 2. Determine manufacturing priorities to match weekly production schedules and make respective assignments. 3. Direct personnel actions, including selection, training, performance appraisal and safety procedures. 4. Direct routine equipment set-up and maintenance and check for accomplishment. 5. Establish instructions and refine procedures, when necessary, in order to contribute to improvements in QCD. 6. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and safe work habits in all employees 7. Monitors absenteeism

- supports PL in appropriate disciplinary action when needed 8. Evaluation of employees

- Provides feedback to manager for employee evaluation purposes and attends performance feedback 9. Understands the relevant processes of his/her area 10. Works in operator capacity to facilitate training of less experienced associates and to cover unplanned absenteeism or emergencies. 11. Has advanced technical skills and can perform change over, machine set up's and trouble shooting and machine repair. 12. Reports KPI's to management during the daily walks 16. Implements continuous improvement and cost saving activities 13. Responsible for conducting layered audits to insure employees are following SOP's / Work Procedures 14. Responsible for shift to shift communication and knowledge transfer regarding priority items, down time etc. 15. Supports training and development in the development and enhancement of training material 16. Assist Engineering when assessing employee readiness for labor grade promotions


Your Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Prefer 2 year technical degree

- will consider OTJ experience with Schaeffler

+ Will consider 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing

+ Experience as a multi skilled operator in his/her area of responsibility

+ Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures, production planning and control, MS-Office and SAP

+ Ability to work with others, collaborate and use persuasion to accomplish the work

+ Familiar with computer programs

+ Strong communication stills and able to resolve conflict
