Description ?SAIC is seeking a
Principal
Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Hanahan, SC.
The Principal Mechanical Engineer Will:
+ Develop static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages
+ Review performance specifications and continuously track all metrics to ensure prototype designs and systems are in accordance with the customer's needs and requirements
+ Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
+ Utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software to ensure designs meet all anticipated load and vibration profiles
+ Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
+ Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation. Review and approve all drafting documentation
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree and Nine (9) or more years of experience
+ Must have design experience
+ Must have Solidworks experience
+ Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
+ CREO & ANSYS experience
