About this role
Description SAIC is seeking a Contracts Support Administrator in
Chantilly, VA to support a dynamic System Program Office (SPO) at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). This position will support acquisition and programmatic activities for multiple major satellite programs. The job requires familiarity with NRO organization, processes, and satellite systems. To perform the role the successful candidate must:
+ Provide direct support to a Government Contracting Officer (CO) in execution of their duties and responsibilities
+ Provide contracting assistance to technical personnel involved in development of statement of work or data deliverable requirements
+ Be responsible for monitoring and coordinating correspondence, reports, and related items for the SPO Contracts and Finance Management Teams
+ Be responsible for calendar management, travel orders and vouchers, briefing preparation
+ Assist the CO in preparing contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and admin modifications
+ Implement and deliver executive administration best practices; resolve issues when they arise
+ Prepare reports as directed by the CO, Team Chief, or Senior Contracting Officer
+ Effectively communicate with leadership to status contract activities
+ Support all SPO business processes and battle rhythm
+ Work collaboratively with SPO leadership and internal and external stakeholders
+ Plan ahead, anticipate issues, provide solutions, and solves problems
+ Maintain action tracking process and tools; maintains status; provides metrics
+ Prepare senior leaders for critical decision-making meetings, liaise with technical experts, and properly communicate with vendors
+ Work with program schedulers to develop schedules depicting major SPO activities and responsibilities
+ Track key dates, develop schedules, lead communication efforts, and maintain organized records
Qualifications
+
Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
+ Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; In lieu of Bachelors degree 8+ years of recent and relevant experience may be considered
+ 4+ years or more years of experience working within an acquisition contracting office
+ Proven working knowledge of current NRO contracting regulations and procurement procedures
+ Proficiency preparing contract files for review
+ Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize contract related information for presentations
+ Ability to work well in small and large teams
+ Excellent organizational skills
