Spalding offers competitive compensation, career development, flexible work schedules and excellent benefits.Position Type: Full-TimeSalary: $70k-$80k annually (depending upon experience)Work Location: Fully RemoteEssential Functions:• Support a government AWS cloud instance of Siemens’ Teamcenter application.
• Support maintenance patching, and upgrades to the core Siemens Teamcenter application.
• Configure interfaces/integrations of third-party tools to Teamcenter
• Support network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors
• Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
• Support installation/upgrade software and maintain software licenses
• Provide troubleshooting support using application logs and Windows logs
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Attend and contribute in Teams collaboration meetings for new requirements, troubleshooting/diagnosis, monitoring, and server-side application support
• Assist with documenting processes and procedures and keeping documentation updated
• Other duties as assigned or requiredRequirementsRequired:• Experience performing general systems administration/management tasks on Windows and/or Linux machines, including installing and updating software, configuring software applications, testing the installed and configured software, and troubleshooting problems
• Ability to read and digest technical information
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues within multiple systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
• Needs strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation.Desired:• Working experience with Naval aviation logistics systems and IT tools/technologies desired, i.e. OOMA, Aircraft Inventory Readiness Reporting System, AvPLM, Technical Directives, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Teamcenter, MRO, and DECKPLATE• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certificationSecurity Clearance:Active T5 or Secret clearance with SSBI required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.Education:AA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline OR six (6) years of experience required.Benefits• Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
