The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for sales and customer service, demonstrating the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve some on-site responsibilities in our Woodridge Branch and other responsibilities in the Chicagoland area. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:• Oversee sales opportunities across Illinois.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of RoadSafe products.
• Enhance and maintain customer relationships, with travel as a necessary component.
• Drive revenue and profitability through proactive sales efforts and exceptional customer service, including outreach to potential new clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales objectives and promote revenue growth.
• Identify new product opportunities and concepts, working closely with the Sales Team and Operations to provide detailed information for customized products.
• Conduct product demonstrations as needed to secure new business and address customer inquiries or concerns.
• Utilize software to generate customer quotes and sales orders for operational purposes.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks.
• Supply Marketing with relevant materials and updates for promotional posts and social media.Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant outside sales experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must demonstrate organization, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is necessary.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changes in safety and industry standards.
• High attention to detail and effective time management skills are crucial.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
