QualificationsWhat You Will DoResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide personal care based on assigned patient needs
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients and families
• Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, and linen changes
• Help with dressing, feeding, transfers, ambulation, and exercises
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping as needed
• Take and record vital signs
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Support caregivers and offer respite when appropriate
• Maintain clean, orderly patient environments
• Follow documentation standards and participate in quality improvement activities
• Uphold dignity and respect in every interactionRequirements
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Minimum 75 hours of CNA training
• Preferred: One year of experience in hospice, home health, or medical/surgical care
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Background check upon hire and annually
• Current CPR certificationIdeal Skills and Qualities
