Internal Opportunity AI Portfolio & Governance Coordinator (12-Month Development Assignment) We are excited to offer a 12-month internal development opportunity supporting our enterprise AI portfolio. This role is designed for a high-performing team member interested in expanding their cross-functional exposure, executive visibility, and strategic program management capabilities. It is expected that the selected participant will allocate a portion of their time to this development opportunity while continuing to support aspects of their current role.At the conclusion of the assignment, the individual may:Transition back into their prior role full-time, orExplore longer-term opportunities within AI governance, portfolio management, or strategic operations based on business need and performance.About the Role The AI Portfolio & Governance Coordinator will serve as a central point of coordination across our AI initiatives. This role ensures initiatives are properly structured, sequenced, visible to leadership, and aligned with governance standards.This is a high-exposure role working closely with executive stakeholders and cross-departmental leaders.Key Responsibilities Portfolio Structure & Governance• Ensure AI initiatives have completed charters, defined scope, and required approvals
• Maintain centralized documentation and governance records
• Track risks, dependencies, and status across the portfolioSequencing & Visibility• Coordinate prioritization and sequencing of AI initiatives
• Maintain an up-to-date portfolio view for leadership
• Identify overlaps, gaps, and cross-functional impactsReporting & Executive Updates• Produce consistent weekly and monthly executive reporting
• Develop clear, concise materials summarizing progress and insights
• Support leadership forums and governance discussionsKnowledge & Best Practices• Capture lessons learned and emerging best practices
• Share insights across teams to strengthen execution maturity
• Identify scalable approaches for future initiativesInnovation & Policy Support• Research and recommend AI governance and policy topics
• Surface ideas and use cases from across the organization (e.g., hackathons, pilots, grassroots innovation)
