About this role
Soccer Post is the largest local, community-focused soccer specialty retailer in the United States, founded in 1979 and headquartered right here in Eatontown, NJ, with 47 stores nationwide. The Eatontown store at 303 Hwy 35 North serves Jersey Shore families, clubs and players with cleats, shinguards, balls, licensed jerseys and team uniforms from Adidas, Nike, Puma, New Balance and more. The store is open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.
What you will do:
- Greet customers and help players and parents find the right cleats, gear and apparel for their game
- Fit footwear and shinguards, explain product differences and share soccer knowledge
- Ring sales on the point-of-sale system, process returns and exchanges, and keep the register accurate
- Receive shipments, stock and merchandise the floor, and keep the store clean and organized
- Support club and team uniform pickups and in-store events
What we look for:
- Friendly, knowledgeable service and a passion for the game
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Weekend availability, especially Saturdays during soccer season
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and POS systems
- Reliability, teamwork and a hands-on attitude
Schedules and pay:
Full time and part time schedules across weekday, evening and weekend shifts. Pay is discussed at the interview.
