Recycling Sorter

Mazza Recycling Services is a family owned waste and recycling company founded in 1964 and based at 3230 Shafto Road in Tinton Falls, NJ. We serve homeowners, businesses, contractors and municipalities across Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties from a 55 acre facility that includes a 70,000 square foot Material Recovery Facility and a solid waste transfer station. Many of our managers, equipment operators and sales leaders started in entry level roles here. We are hiring Recycling Sorters for the MRF.

What you will do:

- Inspect material on the conveyor line and sort items into the right piles by type, size, condition, color and paper grade

- Pull contaminants off the belts and keep the line moving

- Feed material onto conveyor systems and stack and organize material boxes

- Keep your work area and equipment clean

- Report incidents, hazards and equipment issues to your supervisor

What we look for:

- At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

- Able to handle a physical workload on your feet, including outdoor conditions

- Reliable for an early start and flexible for overtime and weekend shifts

- Safety minded and a good teammate; no experience needed, we train

Schedules and pay: Full time, 4 AM to 4 PM shift as posted, with overtime and weekend flexibility. Pay as posted is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental and vision, paid time off and sick leave, 401(k) with 4% employer match, annual increases and professional development.
