About this role

DescriptionUnder the general direction of the Trauma Program Manager, performs a variety of duties essential to maintaining the Trauma Registry as mandated by the Department of Health. Responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Trauma Registry by coding and abstracting the clinical and demographic data from patient records. The Trauma Registrar displays the ability to work independently and with the team. • Coursework/Training: Human anatomy.

• 1 year of Healthcare or related setting.Preferred Qualifications:• Coursework/Training: Medical coding.

• 1 year of Medical record abstracting and/or coding.

• 1 year of Medical registry or 2+ years working in a healthcare-related field.
