Health Link Home Health and Hospice has been a trusted provider of comprehensive home health services throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area and East Bay for nearly two decades. We are expanding our team and are seeking compassionate, organized, and team-oriented Physical Therapists Assistant (PTAs) for multiple territories.At Health Link, teamwork is at the heart of what we do. Compensation is based on experience and territory assignment:• Alameda County & West Contra Costa County
Pay Rate:** $104,000 – $125,000 per year DOE - Sign on Bonus of $5,000 for Full Time status
Coverage Area: Oakland/San Leandro/Berkeley/Richmond/San Pablo• East Contra Costa County
Pay Rate:** $104,000 – $125,000 per year DOE
Coverage Area: Antioch/Pittsburg/Brentwood• TriValley Area
Pay Rate: $104,000 – $125,000 per year DOE
Coverage Area: Dublin/Livermore/Pleasanton/San Ramon/Danville.Why Health Link• Strong, experienced clinical support team available whenever you need assistance• Flexible scheduling• Competitive compensation packages• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with matching, Life Insurance, and more• Paid Time Off (up to 10 days), accruing and available for your use• Vehicle reimbursement options• Supportive and collaborative back-office staffResponsibilities• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the Physician’s plan of care• Treat patients to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and support the highest possible level of performance• Guide and assist patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training• Apply physical agents as appropriate, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage• Observe and report the patient’s response to treatment and any changes in condition to the Physical Therapist and appropriate organizational personnel• Educate patients in the safe use and care of mobility aids and equipment such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic/orthotic devices• Complete online charting in Kinnser immediately after each visit using the provided device• Follow all organizational policies and procedures• Perform other duties as assignedWhy You’ll Be Successful• You prioritize patient-centered care• You enjoy teamwork and community partnership• You value appreciation and support from your colleaguesRequirements• Current California PTA License (Required)• Home Health Experience: 1 year (Preferred)• Current CA Driver’s License• Excellent organizational and communication skills
