Apply for this jobThe individual will prepare design data for electrical/electromechanical aircraft parts using reverse engineering practices and coordinate with certification and material engineers along with FAA Designated Engineering Representatives. They ensure that design features are consistent with functional performance and safety requirements for the aircraft system installation and with standard manufacturing practices. Additionally, the engineer investigates in-service equipment failures to determine root cause, develops repairs to return parts to service, and designs automated test equipment (ATE) and data acquisition systems to support repair development and part qualification.
