About this role
DescriptionEssential Duties:1. Provide customer support on all deposit banking solutions over the phone and in person2. Process internet banking setups3. Reconcile tellers, internal bank accounts, remote ATMs and prepare entries for balancing4. Process closed account checklist5. Prepare charge-offs and write-off accounts for collection and recoveries6. Maintain applicable reports to ensure compliance and accuracy7. Maintain Stop & Hold Maintenance Reports and DDA Deficit Balance reports8. Process NSF, Stop Pay Suspects, and Positive Pay reports9. Verification of in-clearing items (High Dollar, Signature Restrictions, Correct Signatures, etc.)10. Ensure proper procedures are followed (new account set-ups, verify documentation, BSA procedures)11. Process ACH Files for ACH Origination customers and process ACH return items12. Maintain debit and ATM cards (new orders, replacements, fraud cases, risk cases, etc.)13. Track volume of transaction activity14. Process change of address forms15. Process deposit documents, such as: Return Mail, Death Certificates, Research, Court Orders, Succession Letters, Credit Ratings, Privacy Codes16. Key punch transfer items17. Scanning, indexing, and verification of deposit account documents18. Remain proficient at all other deposit operation duties in deposit services area (such as but not limited to proof operation, bulk filing, and postal mail)19. Sell bank services (Debit Cards, Internet Banking, and e-statement, etc.)20. Stay knowledgeable of regulatory changes21. Filing, verify scanned documents for retention22. Cross train for back up on other duties in department23. All other duties assigned
QualificationsQualifications of Job:
• Associate degree preferred (Accounting or business related field) or equivalent banking experience
• Extensive computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office Suite, other software programs)
• Banking experience preferred
• Ability to solve customer and employee problems via telephone (and in person) with tact and pleasant, positive attitude is requiredRequirements:While performing duties, the employee is required to sit, stoop, lift up to 10 pounds, type, the ability to communicate effectively with others, and will be required to work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings/trainings and/or travel.In the performance of respective task and duties, the employee is expected to conform to the following:

• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
