Senior Fund Accountant opportunity with an investment management firm in LA on a high-growth trajectory.A thriving, LA based, investment manager is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their business. With the support of the wider fund accounting team and 3rd party administrator, you will be responsible for reporting on various funds performance. Please note this role is Hybrid, 3 days a week in office
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
• Reporting on funds performance, assisting investor reporting, and reviewing 3rd party administrator work.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for the funds
• Production of management fee calculations and carry waterfall calculations
• Review monthly audit packages to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables
• Liaise with various stakeholders from different teams across the business
Required Skills and Background
• Audit/Assurance background within public accounting, working clients in the asset management space
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• CPA is strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly growing environment
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
