Compensation Data**• Base Wage starting $22-29/hour
• ROA Bonus Eligible: Up to 33%
• Profit Sharing; 20.17% of Eligible Earnings (5 - Year Average)**
Purpose:Provide administrative and financial support at a foundational operational level, with a primary focus on accounts receivable and credit-related activities, while supporting two or more core branch functions. This role contributes to the efficient operation of the branch by assisting in areas such as credit analysis, collections, production scheduling and shipping coordination, inventory support, inside sales support, and basic accounting/bookkeeping processes.
Responsibilities:**Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including monitoring aging reports, tracking outstanding balances, and supporting collections efforts in a professional and timely manner.
• Support customer credit processes, including gathering and reviewing credit applications, maintaining credit files, and coordinating approvals with internal stakeholders. Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payment status, and discrepancies, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Partner with sales and leadership to assess customer credit risk and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Assist with cash application and reconciliation of customer payments to ensure accurate account balances.
• Assist with answering phones and general office administration functions.
• Communicate/distribute all pertinent Human Resources information to location employees.
• Develop exceptional working relationships with customers and vendors.
• Review customer account activity for trends or risk indicators and bring forward potential concerns for leadership review.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records related to customer accounts, credit documentation, and collection activities.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliation support.
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferences:**• Two-year degree from an accredited school or college
• Prior experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and math skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detailPhysical Demands:• Physical demands of Walking, sitting, standing, bending.
• Some lifting/handling computers and related equipment.
• You'll use hands to operate objects, tools, computers, and other electronic equipment.
• Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus.
