Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Vaccinator is responsible for assessing patients, administering vaccines safely, providing education on immunizations, monitoring for adverse reactions, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies and immunization guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:•
Assess patient eligibility and obtain informed consent.•
Administer vaccines safely following clinical protocols.•
Monitor and respond to adverse reactions.•
Educate patients on vaccines and post-vaccination care.•
Maintain accurate records and vaccine inventory.•
Ensure compliance with infection control and cold chain requirements.Qualifications:•
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.•
Current BLS/CPR certification.•
Vaccination/immunization training or competency.•
