Position Overview

As a Float CSR, you will provide front desk and patient access support at multiple Primary Care offices across the Lee Health network. Youll play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and a positive experience at every visit.

Schedule & Pay•

Starting Pay (External Candidates): $21.01/hour

Schedule: Monday Friday with rotational Saturdays•

Hours: Variable shifts between 6:30 AM 6:00 PM

Work Type: Full-Time | Float Position (travel between offices required)What Youll Do•

Greet and assist patients in a professional, compassionate manner•

Manage check-in/check-out and appointment scheduling•

Verify insurance, demographics, and referrals•

Collect co-pays and process payments accurately•

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and registration•

Support multiple Primary Care clinics as needed•

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational standardsRequired & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills•

Reliable transportation and ability to commute between locations•

Comfort working in a high-volume medical environmentHighly Preferred:

3+ years of medical office front desk experience

Prior Primary Care setting experience•

Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities include utilizing a practice management system to facilitate scheduling, registration, accurate billing, collections and the maintenance of medical records. This position can be assigned Sat and Sun shifts and reports to the Manager/Supervisor. This position is required to float to all LPG and Hospital Outpatient Department locations across four counties.RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.

Experience: External Candidates: 2 years of customer service experience required. 3 years of similar medical office front desk experience preferred, Epic EMR experience preferred.Internal candidates: 1 year of equivalent scheduling or registration experience, CSR role preferred.

License: Not required.

Certifications: Not required.

Other: Excellent customer service and computer skills required. Ability to solve problems anddemonstrate critical thinking skills. Works weekend and holidays.US:FL:Fort Myers
