OVERVIEW:The HR Analyst provides hands-on analytical, reporting, and system support for Human Resources, with a primary focus on HRIS reporting, data analysis, and foundational compensation support. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing HR and compensation data, supporting benchmarking activities, maintaining job documentation, and producing reports to support HR and business needs. The HR Analyst also provides tier-one HRIS support for managers, administrators, and employees, develops job aids and training materials, and partners with HR and Total Rewards leadership to support compensation and HRIS-related initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


HR Reporting, Analytics & Data Support (Primary Focus)

• Generate routine and ad-hoc HR and compensation reports from the HRIS.

• Analyze workforce and compensation data to identify trends, discrepancies, and data quality issues.

• Partner with HR and Payroll to validate data accuracy and resolve reporting discrepancies.

• Support dashboards, metrics, and standardized reporting for HR leadership and business partners.

• Assist with data audits, reconciliations, and compliance-related reporting.


Compensation Data & Program Support (Foundational Focus)

• Support compensation activities through data gathering, research, and analysis.

• Review external salary survey data and benchmarks to identify appropriate market comparators for internal roles.

• Assist with job description creation, organization, and maintenance.

• Run pay equity and compensation reports and perform initial analysis.

• Partner with the Systems and Total Rewards Manager and HR team to review findings and support discussions on potential adjustments.

• Assist with compensation planning cycles by preparing, validating, and organizing data.


HRIS Support & Documentation

• Provide tier-one HRIS support for managers, administrators, and employees.

• Troubleshoot basic HRIS issues and escalate complex issues as needed.

• Assist with system testing, validation, and implementation of HRIS and compensation-related changes.

• Develop and maintain job aids, how-to guides, and process documentation related to HRIS and compensation projects.

• Ensure HRIS job and compensation data accuracy.


Training & User Support

• Support training for managers, administrators, and employees on HRIS functionality and compensation-related processes.

• Partner with HR to provide reporting and analysis support as needed.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2–5 years of experience in HR analytics, compensation support, HRIS, or a related HR discipline.

• UKG experience a plus.

• IBM BI reporting a plus.

• Prior HRIS system implementation or conversion experience a plus.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools.

• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and analysis.

• Ability to lift up to 10–15 pounds occasionally.
