We are seeking a senior healthcare operator to take full leadership of our San Francisco branch.This role carries complete accountability for branch performance — including operational execution, clinical alignment, leadership oversight, and achievement of established KPIs. The Director of Operations is expected to independently lead the branch, make high-level decisions, and drive measurable outcomes without day-to-day executive oversight.This is an onsite executive leadership position.Position OverviewThe Director of Operations serves as the senior operational leader of the San Francisco branch and holds full responsibility for branch performance.This role oversees branch managers across both operational and clinical functions, ensuring alignment, accountability, and disciplined execution across all teams.The Director operates with significant autonomy while maintaining alignment with company-wide strategy and growth initiatives.Core Responsibilities**Branch Ownership & Performance• Full accountability for branch KPIs, census performance, and operational goals• Drive execution across clinical and administrative teams• Establish clear performance standards and decision-making authority• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective action when targets are not metFinancial & Operational Oversight• Oversee branch-level operational performance and cost control• Ensure appropriate staffing alignment and resource allocation• Partner with executive leadership on forecasting and strategic planning• Drive operational efficiency to support sustainable growthOperational & Clinical Alignment• Ensure strong coordination between operational and clinical management• Oversee intake flow, workflow efficiency, staffing coordination, and infrastructure systems• Maintain regulatory readiness and survey preparednessLeadership & Accountability• Directly manage branch managers• Develop and elevate managers to operate with greater accountability and performance ownership• Conduct structured performance reviews and coaching• Maintain a professional, performance-driven culture focused on outcomesQualifications• 3+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience• Experience managing managers within a multi-department structure• Demonstrated accountability for performance metrics and operational outcomes• Strong financial literacy and understanding of cost control and resource allocation• Executive presence with confident, independent decision-making ability• Systems-oriented and outcome-driven• Home health experience strongly preferredCompensationStarting salary: $200,000 annually, commensurate with experienceIn addition, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to branch KPIs and overall performance outcomes.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, pet insurance, flexible spending account, and paid time off.If you are a decisive, performance-driven healthcare leader ready to operate at a high level, we welcome the opportunity to connect.Create a Job AlertInterested in building your career at Health Link?
