About your role: At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering

- Sr Advisor I, you will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:

+ Provide leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

+ Perform advanced coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.

+ Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

+ Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.

+ Drive innovation and best practices within the software development team.

Experience you'll need to have:

+ 10+ years of experience in software development

+ 10+ years of experience in Cobol

+ 8+ years experience with IBM tools, monitoring tools, RMF, DB2 utilities, Platinum Detector, etc

+ 10+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

+ Experience in the financial services industry

Salary Range $121,125.00

- $193,800.00 _These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
