Senior Finance Analyst . This role will provide data driven financial analysis and support the Amerock Executive leadership and others throughout the Amerock organization.
Location: This is a Hybrid role based out of our Amerock office in Charlotte/Huntersville NC, in accordance with the Amerock Flex schedule; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office / Monday and Friday remote.
Responsibilities:
+ Drive annual budget process in partnership with key partners to develop an accurate, executable target while communicating key assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities.
+ Develop monthly forecasts by monitoring changes in business trends / prior assumptions and analyze financial / KPI variances versus budget and prior periods.
+ Provide clear margin analysis at the customer, product, and channel level.
+ Understanding of components driving margin (volume, price, and cost).
+ Perform complex financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making by the business leaders and the finance management team.
+ Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations to support month end reporting and provide clear and actionable insights related to P&L results (sales, margin, and opex) and working capital.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial outcomes with operational plans and help identify opportunities to manage expenses appropriately with sales.
+ Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, customer profitability, pricing, and strategic initiatives to support a rapidly changing business environment.
+ Support any adhoc data needs for business leaders and finance leaders.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
+ At least 7+ years in the finance field with FP&A experience preferable.
+ Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel).
+ Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
+ Strong analytical and modeling skills, and comfortable combining multiple data sources.
+ Effective and professional communicator that is comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.
+ Ability to work in a team environment of hard-working colleagues.
