About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and applying federal civilian human resources (HR) laws, regulations, and policies to deliver HR services in one or more functional areas, including staffing and recruitment, position classification, and compensation; ensuring regulatory compliance; and developing, interpreting, and providing authoritative guidance on HR policies and program administration. Policy information may be found at: http://www.secnav.navy.mil/donhr/Documents/CivilianJobs/FedCivAnnuitants.pdf Major Duties: - You will serve as a recruitment and staffing advisor on overseas recruitment strategies, policies, and sources. - You will provide staffing and recruitment advisory services for both U.S. and Foreign National/Local National actions. - You will advise management on a wide range of staffing issues such as workforce shaping, special placement programs, recruitment methods, and compensation, such as special pay incentives. - You will conduct duties in support of the overseas allowances/entitlements program, including, but not limited to initial orientation, reconciliations and out-processing. - You will prepare narrative reports to document cases and recommend actions for resolution of problems. - You will meet regularly with customers to provide the status of Human Resources actions and to ensure consistency in communications.
