About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-02 (GS-05-08) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Extracting, reviewing, and validating financial transactions for accuracy, adequacy, and conformance with budget policy and guidance; 2) Reviewing, formulating, and validating budget and cost estimates; 3) Applying and interpreting financial policies and regulations to provide guidance; 4) Evaluating budget requests and reporting of obligations and expenditures; 5) Identifying and analyzing financial problems within an organization and providing budgetary recommendations and evaluating alternative solutions. OR: Have successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR: Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Major Duties: - You will - You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. - You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. - You will conduct day-to-day operations of financial management functions that involve identifying and analyzing financial problems within an organization and providing budgetary recommendations and alternative solutions. - You will review and execute financial documents within the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system (Navy ERP) and other applicable Department of Defense (DoD) information systems.
