Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties: - You will oversee the entire Test Engineering workforce across all Navy and Marine Corps test teams on the East Coast. - You will serve as the Senior Technical Expert for all engineering domains, across Aeromechanics, Structures, Propulsion, Aircraft Subsystems, Avionics, Mission Systems, Weapons Integration, Carrier Suitability, and Interoperability Test. - You will be responsible for managing personnel skills, processes, and resources, as well as overall technical conduct of the Department. - You will manage the financial resources and direct the technical work of engineers for testing tasks. - You will develop a broad-scope Test and Evaluation strategy that aligns with DoW, Navy, and NAWCAD current and future mission requirements, skills, and capacity.
