ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (INSTRUCTOR)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting technical engineering requirements to develop personnel through knowledge and work exposure of engineering principles, waterfront support processes, and experience-based methods in support of the repair and overhaul of ships and/or submarine systems. Major Duties: - You will design and modify training courses to meet management training objectives for Chief Test Engineers, senior engineering managers and supervisors, engineers, technicians, and others. - You will Present lectures and assist students with problems. - You will generate correspondence and maintain personnel files related to the qualification status of personnel at the Shipyard. - You will prepare and review written and/or oral examinations for technical accuracy. - You will prepare lesson plans, training aids, and periodic examinations for Engineering Qualification.
