SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintain hardware and software including all associated distribution, routing, and switching capabilities to include data center and distribution room infrastructures; 2) Manages the development of a formal written project plan that includes a plan of action and milestones, scope and effect statements, coordination and integration efforts; 3) Assign duties to best meet organizational needs while fostering employee career development; and 4) Ensures application of information security, information assurance, and administration policies, principles, and practices adhere to the network administration process. Major Duties: - You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of the comprehensive IT infrastructure that supports academic programs, professional training, and administrative functions at USNA. - You will provide technical leadership for and advise IT management on prototyping, development, implementation, administration, etc. of all centralized and distributed IT network resources. - You will manage all aspects of projects from inception to successful completion. - You will provide supervisory oversight for personnel tasked with network administration projects, as well as the ongoing operations and maintenance of USNA IT systems.
