About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Exercising management principles and practices, theories and regulations, current/revised guidance, and policies regarding all facets of administrative programs; 2) Providing administrative services and procedures such as forms management, files, directives and correspondence management, classified material custodian, records management, office equipment and supplies; 3) Monitoring/executing financial and budgetary transactions to ensure adequate control of funds; 4) Communicating administrative program reports, changes in protocol, and correspondence. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties: - You will advise internal and external customers on agency administrative policies and/or procedures. - You will analyze current manpower data (e.g., civilian strength, vacancies, projected gains, projected losses) to determine man hour requirements. - You will oversee workforce management support services (e.g., personnel actions, awards program) for compliance of policies and regulations. - You will evaluate administrative operations to verify compliance with regulations. - You will prepare outgoing correspondence in accurate message format for a department.
