In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For the GG-12 position, specialized experience is defined as Experience as an administrative official with responsibility for working standardized administrative processes and procedures OR management human resources principles, practices, methods, and techniques OR integrating management services with general management. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Major Duties: - Performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising on a variety of management services. - Maintains, inputs, and revises a variety of comprehensive databases to manage information that is useful in making organizational decisions and processing requests submitted to higher command. - Assures that internal management control systems and procedures for carrying out its functions meet the requirements of balancing costs, benefits, productivity, and effectiveness in an effort to identify and eliminate material weaknesses. - Serves as action officer pertaining to all aspects of personnel management, reorganizations, organization structuring, and manpower utilization. - Principal advisor to the organizational leadership and staff on administrative management issues.
