About this role
Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Engineering Tech III- MRB Coordinator.The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pmThe hourly rate for this position is $27.00- $31.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:The Quality Engineering Tech III- MRB (Material Review Board) Coordinator is responsible for controlling nonconforming product in all product and processes utilized in the manufacture, inspection, testing, and release of finished product.
In this function you will:- Coordinator, tracking/status of all in-house MRB material. Ensuring quarantined materials are physically segregated, secured, and quarantined. Controls the inventory locations where nonconforming materials are stored. Ensures that assigned areas are organized and orderly.- Interfacing daily with various departments/teams to provide status of open MRB items and to seek closure on those items.- Track systematically all MRB materials and coordinate disposition with team members. Coordination and processing of all nonconformance reports (NCRs).- Ensuring follow-up to allow for processing and closure of nonconformance reports in a timely manner.- Generating and reporting data associated with MRB activities. Help maintain metrics and report on the status of MRB aging.- Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Inspection, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Finished Goods, Manufacturing, and Quality to identify priorities and resolve open issues.- Process dispositioned material
- assist with the coordination of Return parts to suppliers, scrap parts, verify tasks are completed and approved per released instructions. Movement of material to designated locations in support of inspections, MRB, RMA, and Inventory processes.- Initiates material transfers, reports quality issues, records transactions in ERP system (Oracle/SAP) as needed to preserve traceability and inventory accuracy.- Maintains the accuracy of identification and count of materials.- Performs any other projects or duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:- Associates degree with a technical discipline OR High School Diploma/GED equivalent and 3 years' experience of manufacturing experience- 3 years' experience in manufacturing, production planning, quality, or as a Coordinator for a highly complex, low volume manufacturer- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Candidates must reside within 50

Preferred Qualifications:- Preferred candidate should have a working knowledge of the area and a working knowledge of manufacturing operations.- Technical knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Management System- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)- Basic understanding of business management/ERP software (preferably Oracle or SAP)
