About this role
The Opportunity: Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Benefits Programs, as the
Senior Manager of Global Leave & Policies , you will lead and manage our organization's global leave programs and policies. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive suite of leave programs, including but not limited to, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, parental leave, bereavement leave, and other country-specific statutory leave entitlements. In addition, you will oversee other global benefit policies. You will collaborate with HR, legal, and business leaders across the organization to ensure compliance with global regulations and best practices, while optimizing the employee experience and supporting the strategic goals of the business. _This is a hybrid role, requiring three (3) days of onsite work weekly._

The Role:
+ Global Leave Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement the global leave strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, compliance with local labor laws, and consistency in policy application across all regions.
+ Policy Development & Review: Lead the creation, review, and periodic update of leave policies and other benefit policies to ensure they remain competitive, compliant, and reflective of changing global norms and employee needs.
+ Leave Program Administration: Oversee the day-to-day management of global leave programs, including PTO, parental leave, sick leave, long-term disability, and other statutory leave types. Ensure effective systems for tracking, reporting, and managing employee leave across regions.
+ Compliance & Risk Management: Stay abreast of global and regional legislative changes that affect employee leave entitlements. Ensure policies and practices are compliant with applicable labor laws, including paid and unpaid leave requirements.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with HR, legal, and business leaders to align leave and policy practices with business needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related inquiries and escalations.
+ Employee Experience: Advocate for a positive employee experience by promoting transparency, accessibility, and clarity around leave policies. Provide guidance and support to employees navigating complex leave situations.
+ Data Analysis & Reporting: Lead the tracking, analysis, and reporting of leave utilization trends, identifying opportunities for improvement or optimization in leave policies and processes.
+ Vendor & Systems Management: Manage external vendors, benefits platforms, and HRIS systems related to leave administration. Optimize systems and processes for efficiency, user experience, and compliance.
+ Training & Communication: Develop and deliver training programs for HR and managers on leave policies, legal requirements, and best practices. Ensure employees are well-informed through clear, accessible communication of leave policies and procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Skills & Abilities:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, etc.) preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in global leave management, policy development, or related fields.
+ Strong knowledge of global leave regulations and compliance requirements across different regions (e.g., North America, Europe, APAC).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policies in a clear and approachable manner.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience developing solutions to complex leave issues.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on deadlines and deliverables.
+ Experience managing teams or cross-functional projects, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders.
+ Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills necessary. Experience with data analytics tools highly desired.
