Location: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX (Hybrid / Remote Consideration Pending Experience)Crete United is hiring a National Sales Director – Enterprise Accounts to play a critical role in driving revenue generation and supporting the continued growth of new business across the country. As a key member of the Enterprise Accounts team, the National Sales Manager’s success will be determined by their ability to achieve sales targets by generating a pipeline of qualified opportunities, taking direct ownership of advancing the opportunities through the stages of deal progression, negotiating & closing agreements, and facilitating the transition of closed-won deals to internal teammates in operations and/or the strategic accounts group for execution as part of a best-in-class customer experience.In this role, you will guide and assist customers through a consultative sales process to develop a single-source solution that achieves their goals by leveraging our unified platform of capabilities where we collaborate nationally and execute locally in various scopes; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, energy, utility, and building automation. Candidates may note that while the primary focus is to utilize the capabilities of the in-house partner businesses of Crete United, this role has the opportunity to cross-sell any of the capabilities within the Energy Services group and supplement execution through our strategic subcontractor network to best serve the customer goals wherever local performance is needed. We win by enabling multi-site, repeatable work that is performed on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will be intrinsically motivated, relationship driven to relish in face-to-face engagement, possess a high-level business acumen & integrity, and thrive in the autonomy of being accountable to their book of business that feeds the larger ecosystem.This role reports to the Vice President, Sales & Business Development (Enterprise Accounts). This is an individual contributor role and does not involve people management at this time.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
• 100% individual contributor selling role; support from VP, Sales & Business Development as well as VP, Strategic Accounts to navigate deals.
• Own end-to-end pipeline development and management from prospecting to closing in the assigned vertical(s) or solution capabilities.
• Maintain a clean, consistent, and detailed CRM through Salesforce to report on deal flow or forecast monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Personally source, pursue, and advance opportunities; no inherited book of business should be expected, but lead generation from local partner businesses may apply on occasion.
• Develop solutions, support job estimation, and close work in collaboration with local Crete United Partner companies or internal counterparts to meet annual booking targets.
• Build and maintain a balanced pipeline focused on repeatable, multi-site opportunities for long-term recurring revenue; project work should be given consideration for signature customer brands or cross-sell opportunities with scalability.
• Achieve and sustain a pipeline representing 20–30% of Crete United’s annual booking target within 12 months.
• Participate in pipeline reviews, opportunity strategy discussions, and sales execution calls.
• Support internal stakeholders with resolutions on potential issues that yield safe, effective, and thorough outcomes; both internally and externally.
• Represent Crete United at select industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to support the role’s function of revenue generation; travel (sometimes overnight) is required.
• Avoid OEM-style or Manufacturer-bound exclusive deals, or “whale hunting” model.

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of business development or strategic sales experience.
• Experience in enterprise sales, national accounts or a related cross-functional industry of projects & services; preferred but not necessary – HVAC, energy services, MEP, facilities, or industrial/construction markets.
• Proven success selling into multi-site or enterprise customer environments with senior level buyers.
• Pedigree and evidence of closing $MM deals with multi-year terms.
• Demonstrated ability to build and close complex sales with multi-scope services.
• Experience engaging senior decision-makers across decentralized organizations and ability to present to C-Suite stakeholders or investors.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or graduate-level degree with a focus on business, marketing, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in a competitive, entrepreneurial business or industry that demonstrates initiative and willingness to run towards challenges.
• Work samples of executive business presentations or sales material may be requested with redacted information during the interview process.
• Strong personal style with a “hunter” mentality to find mutual wins for the customer and Crete United.
• Executive presence and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline that has high-rigor for the details.
• Data-driven sales management and seeks insights from CRM.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and succinctly relay pertinent information across organizational stakeholders.
• Exercise discernment and display character when communicating information across internal or external teams.
