Position Summary


The Regional Market Development Manager facilitates dialysis and kidney care program growth through data analysis, relationship management, and community outreach. This individual provides regional leadership with actionable analysis of patient admissions and census data and drives growth by developing new and existing referral sources across hospitals and the community.



Essential Functions


Monitor and analyze admissions data on a weekly basis to identify and interpret trends, patterns, and opportunities to support patient census growth; make recommendations to attract new patients, improve referral-to-admission conversion, and identify potential causes of, and ways to mitigate, patient transfers.

Actively manage and own relationships with internal physician partners and external medical providers in the community, including nephrology stakeholders and care transitions teams (discharge planners, case management), identifying and addressing any potential barriers to referrals and admissions and increasing awareness of IRC in the medical community.

Outreach to hospitals, physicians, and health systems to establish relationships and create new potential referral sources for in-center dialysis, home dialysis programs, and other opportunities (field-based, on-site outreach).

Support dialysis facilities and programs with marketing needs and initiatives, acting as a liaison between the facility/program and corporate marketing team.

May support processing admissions as needed for timely admission.

Partner with regional leadership on other initiatives and projects as needed.



Education And Experience


Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of proven success in healthcare, marketing, provider relations, or business development.

2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Dialysis, nephrology, kidney care, or dialysis-adjacent experience is strongly preferred (dialysis provider, home dialysis, renal device, renal pharma, CKD/ESRD services).

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; full proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (CRM such as Salesforce or similar preferred).
