About this role
Our client is a fast-growing healthcare AI infrastructure startup building developer tools for healthcare software companies. They are seeking a Founding Operator to be their first business hire — working directly with the CEO to build and scale all non-engineering functions from scratch.This is a rare opportunity for a high-agency generalist who thrives in ambiguity and wants to own everything from outbound sales and marketing to customer support and events at a YC-backed healthcare AI company.What You'll Do• Build and run outbound sales processes from scratch — researching prospects, running sequences, and booking discovery calls with healthcare companies
• Lead marketing efforts including content creation, social presence, and developer-focused positioning
• Own customer support — triaging issues, responding to customers, and escalating to engineering as needed
• Plan and execute in-person events, dinners, and meetups in the SF healthcare AI ecosystem
• Context-switch across any business function the CEO needs covered — no task too small or too bigRequirements• 1–4 years in operations, consulting, or founding/scaling a business
• Extreme agency and grit — you figure it out and drive projects end-to-end without waiting for instructions
• Generalist skill set spanning multiple functions — not just marketing or just sales
• Technical aptitude to quickly ramp on a developer-focused infrastructure product
• Healthcare or health tech experience
• Ex-founder background preferred; PM or MBB consultant moving into operating also a strong fit
• Prior seed or Series A startup experience a plus
• Degree from a top-tier university; technical degree (CS, engineering, math) a strong plus
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Apollo and Clay preferredBenefits• Salary & equity (0.25 - 0.75%)
