Posting Note: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant services. This role offers a unique opportunity to rotate between inpatient and outpatient service lines, delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care across the continuum of cancer treatment. Additionally, the position involves providing clinical guidance and expertise in the development of chemotherapy Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) protocols, in close collaboration with our information technology colleagues. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes, supporting chemotherapy protocol development, and engaging directly with patients, providers, and nursing staff. Your expertise will help shape the future of pediatric oncology care and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and their families. This is an advanced level clinical pharmacist position responsible and accountable for the provision of departmental and organizational clinical pharmacy services. This position provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to patients from neonate to adulthood while performing the duties of a registered pharmacist as defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and Phoenix Children's. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist aligns with targeted interdisciplinary programs and specialty services to deliver medication therapy management services to ensure pharmaceutical care programs are appropriately integrated throughout the institution. Clinical Pharmacist Specialists serve as departmental resources and liaisons to other departments and hospital personnel and participate in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system. This position reports directly to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services.
